Good evening to all the beautiful people reading my blog. Today I'm going to review L'OREAL PARIS True Match BB Cream, after personally using it for sometime now π
I have an extremely oily and acne prone, sensitive skin and its really difficult for me to use any product without my skin breaking out. Especially in summers, the skin problems just seem to aggravate. So I have to be really choosy while selecting products for my skin. So this summer I decided to explore the BB creams over heavy makeup. And I am sure not complaining for that!
Lets get back to our product review:
L'OREAL PARIS True Match BB Cream
Packaging: Sturdy, travel friendly, the press tube is hygienic and chances of spill/wastage is very less.
Key ingredients are: Water, dimethicone, glycerin, isododecane, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, alcohol, PEG-10 dimethicone, dipropylene glycol, betaine, talc, diisotearyl malate, disteardimonium hectorite, ethylhexyl hydroxystearate, henoxyethanol, magnesium sulphate, silica, apricot kernel oil, dimethiconol, aluminium starch octenylsuccinate, dimethicone crosspolymer, vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer, disodium stearoyl glutamate, tocopheryl acetate, paciflora edulis seed oil, macadamia ternifolia seed oil, coriander fruit oil, jojoba seed oil, ascorbyl glucoside, alumina, sodium hyaluronate, pentaerythrityl tetraisostearate, aluminium hydroxide, adenosine, silica dimethyl silylate, sodium chondroitin sulphate, atelocollagen. It also may contain: titanium dioxide, bismuth oxychloride, iron oxides.
Claims: Skin Clarity, Anti Ageing
Price: INR 670/- for 30 ml
My Experience: L'OREAL PARIS True Match BB Cream comes in 3 shades Ivory, Honey and Gold and I am using the Honey shade (the medium one) and it works well for me. True to its claims, it does makes the skin tone uniform and can be used by oily skinned beauties safely. The consistency is medium, neither runny nor thick and is fairly easy to apply. A little goes a long way. I use it after cleansing and toning routine. I did not get any breakouts, however, my T zone needs a compact touch up as the BB Cream is not mattifying enough for me there. I use the compact powder from the same L'OREAL True Match range and its better when used together. It is a very noble substitute for a foundation, on really hot days when i want to go easy on my skin as well as look good.π But I do need to blot the oil on my T-zone periodicallyπ Because of this one issue, I've reserved it's usage mostly for the evenings when I do not have to worry about the shine part much, which infact looks good at that time of the day, all glowy, clear and beautiful.....But that way i do not get to enjoy the benefits of spf 35 pa+++ which is also a good add on to a BB Cream. Perhaps winters would be the best time to really enjoy all the benefits of this cream for oily skinned beauties like me.
Price wise I wish it could be somewhere in the INR 500/- range for that quantity !
(thats just a wish π°π)
Pros: Even skin tone, SPF 35Pa+++, good as a substitute for heavy make up for that subtle look, good staying power upto 4-5 hrs. π
Cons: Limited shades, not absolutely mattifying for oily skin nor completely moisturising for dry skin π¬, may leave a whitish cast.
My Rating: 3.5/5
If you ask me would i buy it again? I'd say although the product is decent, its not my absolute favourite as of now, so i'll have to think about it once its over!
Thankyou for your patient reading folks π€
Stay beautiful in all seasons πΈ
